Which tea is best for energy and health

Posted on April 1, 2026May 31, 2026 By drshintani No Comments on Which tea is best for energy and health

Which tea is best for energy and health. Green tea , black tea, earl, grey tea, oolong, tea, or Matcha tea? ##shintani##drshintani##anticancer. ##antiinflammatory. ##energy##EGCG ##Caffeine ##energydrink

Which tea is best for energy and health? Most people are surprised to find out that green tea, black tea, oolong tea, Earl Grey tea, and matcha tea come from the same plant, Camellia sinensis. Green tea is unfermented, retaining its natural flavor. Black tea is fully fermented and has a bold taste. Earl Grey is black tea flavored with bergamot oil for a subtle citrus flavor. Oolong tea is between green and black tea, semi-oxidized. And matcha tea involves grinding green tea leaves into a powder, providing concentrated nutrients. Among these teas, matcha is likely the healthiest due to its high EGCG content, followed by green tea, but all provide energy and health benefits. So, to get healthy now, drink more tea.

These are four high carb foods that help prevent diabetes. Researchers have found that these four high carb foods are associated with lower risk of diabetes. In a study of over 194,700 people comparing high intake with low intake of these foods, whole grain intake was associated with a 29% lower risk of diabetes. In other research, whole fruit was associated with 8.2% less diabetes, and green vegetables were associated with 14% less diabetes, and legumes and lentils were associated with 35% less diabetes. Ultra processed food was associated with a 31% increase in diabetes, and a study involving 216,000 participants found that those who ate the highest amount of red meat, processed or unprocessed, had a 62% higher risk of diabetes compared to those who ate the least. Of course, processed meat was worse than unprocessed. So, to control diabetes, consider eating more whole grains, vegetables, fruit, and legumes, and less ultra processed food, and less red meat, especially processed meat.

Nitric oxide foods, magnesium, exercise, and less TMAO trimethylamine N-oxide foods. #s#shintanid#drshintanih#healthtipsb#bloodpressureh#hypertensionn#nitricoxidem#magnesium#e#exercisec#calciumchannelblocker#va#vasodilationbl#bloodpressurehighhi#highbloodpressurecurehi#highbloodpressurediet

Here are five ways to relax blood vessels and help control blood pressure. In my June 16th post, I mentioned that one of four ways to help reduce blood pressure is to cause relaxation of blood vessels. Here are five ways to do this naturally. First, eat more foods like greens and beets that produce nitric oxide, which helps to relax blood vessels. Second, eat more foods with magnesium as magnesium is a natural calcium channel blocker and also helps to produce nitric oxide. Third, eat less red meat, egg yolks, and dairy as they increase trimethylamine N-oxide, which can cause vasoconstriction. Fourth, exercise as it naturally relaxes blood vessels. And fifth, use herbal supplements. See my previous post on 10 supplements for blood pressure.

Which is better; fresh or frozen? The answer may surprise you

Posted on March 24, 2026May 31, 2026 By drshintani No Comments on Which is better; fresh or frozen? The answer may surprise you

Which is better; fresh or frozen? The answer may surprise you. Research shows that sometimes frozen might actually be better. For details go to. DrDTips.com. #drshintani #frozenproduce #freshproduce. #Naturalfood. #Plant-basedfood. #healthtips #conveniencefood. #Frozenfruit. #Vegetarian

What’s healthier, fresh or frozen? You may be surprised at the answer. When buying produce, a common question is which is healthier, fresh or frozen? The logical answer is that well, fresh vegetables should always be better. But it’s not that simple. Research actually says that frozen produce can often be just as healthy, if not healthier, than fresh produce. A study comparing the nutritional content of common fresh produce compared to their frozen counterparts of corn, carrots, broccoli, spinach, peas, green beans, strawberries and blue blueberries found that the vitamins in frozen frozen produce are comparable to and occasionally higher than their fresh counterparts. Other studies found that the only major nutritional difference between fresh and frozen produce is when refrigerated fresh produce starts to lose nutrients after a few days.

Can this lengthen your life by as much as 9 and 1/2 years? After analyzing the diets of 92,000 people over a period of 23 years, Harvard researchers found that those who consumed more of this food substance had a 19% lower risk of death during the period of the study. In a similar study of 19,000 people conducted in Italy, researchers found that those who consumed the highest amount of this food substance lived 9 and 1/2 years longer. The food substance they were studying was extra virgin olive oil. It should be noted that the longest-lived population in the world, the Okinawans, consumed very little oil and had equal longevity. So, to get healthy now, use extra virgin olive oil, if you use any oil at all.

The 2 best sugar substitutes

Posted on March 19, 2026May 31, 2026 By drshintani No Comments on The 2 best sugar substitutes

The 2 best sugar substitutes. Since aspartame in called a carcinogen by WHO. I like stevia or monk’s fruit as natural alternatives. ##shintani##healthtips##drshintani##health##prevention##wellness##natural ##stevia ##monksfruit##carcinogen##sweetener##sugarsubstitute##sugarsubstitutes##diabetes ##bloodsugar ##sugar

Here are the two best sugar substitutes since aspartame has been designated as a possible carcinogen by the WHO. Hi, I’m Dr. Shintani, MD and nutritionist trained at Harvard. A lot of people have been asking, “Now what do we do for a sugar substitute? Sucralose? Saccharin?” Well, I recommend avoiding artificial chemical sweeteners such as these because they’re unnatural and the body doesn’t know what to do with them and ultimately they’ll have side effects. I prefer the natural alternatives, stevia or monk’s fruit. Stevia comes from the Paraguayan herb stevia rebaudiana and monk’s fruit comes from lo han guo, long used in Chinese medicine. Because both stevia and monk’s fruit are natural glycosides, they have very few side effects. So to get healthy now, consider using these natural sweeteners..
