I’ve been reversing obesity and diabetes naturally for over 30 years, and I published my results in peer reviewed journals. Yet I was criticized because I used a high carb diet in order to do this. But recently research is supporting my high carb approach. For example a large study of 194,000 people with over 18,000 cases of diabetes revealed that those who ate the most whole grain had a 29% lower risk of diabetes. In another study, looking at the connection between bean and legume intake with diabetes. Researchers found a 35% lower in the incidence of diabetes among those who ate the most beans and legumes compared to those who ate the least. And in another study of a high carb food fruit, diabetes researchers found that those who ate whole fruit once a day had a 48% lower risk of diabetes compared to those who ate fruit rarely. So to reduce the risk of diabetes, eat more whole unprocessed grains, beans and whole fruit.
