Here are seven basic steps; Number one: reduce fat intake, especially saturated fat, because this will improve insulin sensitivity. Number two eat whole unprocessed starchy foods such as oatmeal brown rice or sweet potato instead of processed flour products like cookies and pastries. Number three eats lots of high-fiber foods such as greens and colorful vegetables to slow the absorption of sugar.
