I hear that a lot of people are eating more meat and less grains to control diabetes. Ironically research suggests that this may increase the risk of diabetes. Researchers at the highly respected Framingham study have found that there is no correlation between total carbohydrate intake and insulin resistance. Instead they found that whole grain intake is associated with 29% less risk of type 2 diabetes. They also found that those who ate the most red meat had a 62% higher risk of type 2 diabetes compared to those who ate the least. This may be because saturated fat which is found in red meat can cause insulin resistance. So to control blood sugar, consider eating more whole grain and less red meat. I do this in my programs along with less processed food, more fiber and diabetes is reversed.
Eat more of this unless of that for less diabetes. A lot of people are eating more meat and less grain to control diabetes. But research suggests that this may increase the risk of diabetes. #drshintani #Healthfoods #reversediabetes. #bloodsugarcontrol. #diabetestype2 #controlbloodsugar #insulinresistance #unhealthyfoods #wholegrain
