Countries Who Prayed with Us

Posted on August 10, 2024November 17, 2024 By drshintani No Comments on Countries Who Prayed with Us

Today is the United Nations International Day of Peace, yet there are wars going on and people are hurting and dying as a result. I believe in the healing power of prayer, and today I’d like to start a prayer chain of peace. If you feel the spirit please join us in prayer and comment where you’re praying from, every prayer counts. E Pule Kakou – let us pray. Our dear gracious Heavenly Father, Blessed be thy Name, humbly we beseech thee of thy great benevolence and place your mighty hand upon anyone affected by war or disaster and heal them of any affliction they may have. And most merciful Father please bless those who have departed this realm as a result of war or disaster and embrace them with your love now and forevermore and Father let there be peace on earth, those things we pray, amen.

We are very grateful for all the countries who participated with us in our prayer4peace.

Eat more of this unless of that for less diabetes

Posted on August 10, 2024November 17, 2024 By drshintani No Comments on Eat more of this unless of that for less diabetes

I hear that a lot of people are eating more meat and less grains to control diabetes. Ironically research suggests that this may increase the risk of diabetes. Researchers at the highly respected Framingham study have found that there is no correlation between total carbohydrate intake and insulin resistance. Instead they found that whole grain intake is associated with 29% less risk of type 2 diabetes. They also found that those who ate the most red meat had a 62% higher risk of type 2 diabetes compared to those who ate the least. This may be because saturated fat which is found in red meat can cause insulin resistance. So to control blood sugar, consider eating more whole grain and less red meat. I do this in my programs along with less processed food, more fiber and diabetes is reversed.

Eat more of this unless of that for less diabetes. A lot of people are eating more meat and less grain to control diabetes. Pray with us to stop the escalation of war to prevent a greater war from happening

Posted on August 7, 2024November 17, 2024 By drshintani No Comments on Pray with us to stop the escalation of war to prevent a greater war from happening

If you feel the spirit, please pray with us to stop the escalation of war to prevent a greater war from happening. Today is Hiroshima Day, it is the anniversary of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima. Which claimed nearly 100,000 innocent lives. It is a stark reminder of the horror of the escalation of war. My ancestors are from Hiroshima, yet my father was born an American citizen and was drafted into the US army in World War 2. So my family understands that dilemma of war, and the pain of the senseless loss of lives of innocent friends and relatives. So let us pray together to stop the escalation of war, so that the horrors of Hiroshima never be given a chance to happen again. Please put in the comments from where you are praying to enhance the geographic power of the prayer. So now let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Blessed be thy Name, we humbly implore thee of thy infinite wisdom and mercy that your mighty hand be placed upon those who seek to escalate war. Fill them with thy wisdom, guide them with thy light to understand that killing only brings more killing and to settle differences without bloodshed. We also humbly ask your intervention that any hostages anywhere in the world be released and that any endangering of civilians in the name of war be stopped. We ask that your blessing be upon the souls of all those who have lost their lives as a result of war, and that the further killing of innocent people around the world be brought to an end, so that thy peace may prevail on earth. Those things we pray, amen.

Pray with us to stop the escalation of war to prevent a greater war from happening. Hiroshima is a star reminder of the result of escalation of war. Let us pray now so that this never happen again. #drshintani #prayforpeace #stopthekillingsph #r#releasethehostages #prayerforpeace #p#peaceprayer s#stopthebombing#s#stopkillingchildren#greenscreen

For years, we were taught that you can’t grow new brain cells once you’re an adult. But now research shows that we actually can and do grow new brain cells even to old age. We now know that a substance called BDNF or brain derived neurotrophic factors stimulate the growth of new brain cells and help to enhance brain function and memory. Here are 8 of the top nutrients that help produce BDNF; Number 1, Catechins which are found in green tea. Number 2, Anthocyanins found in berries. Number 3, Resveratrol found in red and purple grapes. Number 4, Curcumin found in turmeric. Number 5, Chlorogenic acid found in coffee. Number 6, Omega 3 oils that you can get from chia seeds, flax seeds, and fatty fish. Number 7, Sulforaphane found in broccoli. And Number 8, Healthy gut flora which is supported by soluble and insoluble fiber.

Eat this and not that to prevent all Alzheimer’s disease

Posted on August 2, 2024November 17, 2024 By drshintani No Comments on Eat this and not that to prevent all Alzheimer’s disease

A startling fact about Alzheimer’s was revealed by Dr. Rudolf Tanji, Chair of the Alzheimer’s research group at Harvard. He points out that some animals always get Alzheimer’s pathology in their brain and others never do depending on what they eat. He explains that all meat-eating animals get Alzheimer’s pathology in their brain if they live long enough, while herbivores, plant-eaters, never do. While this observation is about animals, recent human studies support this view that avoiding meat and following a plant-based diet can aid in preventing Alzheimer’s disease. One 15-year long study published in 2022 revealed that vegetarians had a 33% lower risk of developing Alzheimer’s, compared to meat-eaters. Another study published in 2024 revealed that there’s a 14% increase in risk of Alzheimer’s and people who ate an average of one ounce of processed meat per day. The study also showed that there was a 20% reduction in risk if the ounce of meat was replaced by beans and nuts. So to start preserving your brain function, consider eating less meat and more plant-based foods.

Bilateral mastectomy doesn’t improve breast cancer survival over unilateral mastectomy

Posted on August 1, 2024November 17, 2024 By drshintani No Comments on Bilateral mastectomy doesn’t improve breast cancer survival over unilateral mastectomy

Bilateral mastectomy doesn’t improve breast cancer survival says new research. A lot of women who have cancer in one breast are afraid that it will recur in the opposite breast. So they opt to have both breasts removed. A recent study published in JAMA Oncology found that women with breast cancer who opted for bilateral mastectomy did not have any better survival rates compared to those who had a lumpectomy or just one breast removed. This study followed over 600,00 women with breast cancer for 20 years. While double mastectomy did lower the chance of cancer recurring in the opposite breast, it did not improve overall survival. This is likely because breast cancer deaths are due to the spread of the initial tumor to vital organs rather than any new cancers forming in the opposite breast. This study may not apply to the 1 in 500 women who have the BRCA gene.

Posted on July 31, 2024November 17, 2024 By drshintani No Comments on This neglected super nutrient is associated with 30% less heart disease 22% less stroke and less

This often neglected nutrient reduces LDL cholesterol and is associated with less heart disease and stroke mortality. It is also associated with less cancer of the breast, stomach, prostate, and pancreas, and reduces colon cancer by about 16%. This super nutrient is fiber. Dietary fiber slows blood sugar absorption and is associated with 16% less diabetes. Research also indicates that those who ate 18g of fiber or more had a 26% lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease compared to those who ate 10g per day. A typical American eats about 10 to 15 grams of fiber per day. Women should aim for about 25g per day and men around 35g per day. Some of the best sources of fiber are beans and lentils with about 11 to 15 grams of fiber per cup. Old grains with 3 and a half to 6 grams of fiber per cup. Fruit with about 3 to 5 grams of fiber per cup. Vegetables with roughly 3 to 10 grams of fiber per cup.
